How these Systems Work
These systems use Centrifugal Force and Absorption to remove the water and depth filtration to remove the contaminatnts from diesel fuel.
The systems utilize a Coalescing Chamber rather than a coalescing element to separate water from fuel. This means the Coalescing Chamber is PERMANENT with NO coalescing element to replace. The water is held in the bottom of the chamber until it is drained off with the Drain Valve. A sight glass is included so the operator knows when to drain the water.
Above the Coalescing Chamber is the Depth Filtration Canisters. These canister hold an AMS-304 Depth Element which removes the solid contamination, up to 10 pounds of solids and down to 1-3 micron in size.
