AMS Filtration - Water and Acid Absorbing Filter Elements

These elements are designed primarily for the AMS 618 Filtration Systems

These elements utilize a media which allows for high efficiency water or acid removal with low pressure drop

Features include:

Epoxy-Coated Steel Support Mesh (Upstream and Downstream)

Provides excellent pleat support and spacing
Protects against media damage during handling and installation
Excellent compatibility
Allows for maximum effective media area

Water Absorbing Media

This media is designed for removal of water from petroleum and synthetic fluids.
Each 618 element will hold about 1 gallon of water
Will remove moisture to below 50ppm

Water Absorbing Molecular Sieve Media

This media is designed for removal of water from transformer insulating fluids.
Each 618 element will hold about 1/2 gallon of water
Molecular Sieve media will remove moisture to below 25ppm

Acid Absorbing Activated Alumina Media

This media is designed for removal of acid from transformer insulating fluids and other petroleum based fluids.

Acid Absorbing Selexorb® Media

This media is designed for removal of acid from phosphate ester fluids and other synthetic or petroleum based fluids.
